On Friday 27th September, Royal Papworth Charity returned with 'wear it red' to raise awareness for World Heart Day 2019. Members of staff wore, red socks, t-shirts, ties and shoes to raise awareness for the impact that cardio vascular disease has on people globally.

Many staff members wore something red and donated £1 to support Royal Papworth hospital in raising awareness and funds to combat cardiovascular disease globally. This year your donations went towards the building of the Heart and Lung Research Institute (HLRI) which aims to collaborate with world renowned academics, scientists and researchers to improve the ability to diagnose, manage and treat heart and lung diseases globally.
