Wear Red to celebrate World Heart Day World Heart Day 2018 is held on the 29th September and Royal Papworth Hospital Charity is asking for your help in celebrating the day! On Friday 28th September we will be encouraging our staff, volunteers, supporters and ambassadors to participate in a 'Wear Red to Work Day'. ❤️❤️ Why not wear something red and donate £1 to Royal Papworth Hospital Charity. Your small donation will help Royal Papworth Hospital, the UK’s largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital and the UK’s main heart and lung transplant centre, continue to provide the best possible care to all of our patients. This year World Heart Day is asking people to make a promise as an individual to cook and eat more healthily, to do more exercise and encourage your children to be more active, say no to smoking and help your loved ones to stop. Cardiovascular disease is currently the worlds number one killer, and we want to change that. By making a few small changes to YOUR life, we can reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. Please text WRED18£1 to 70070 to donate and send us any photos of you and your friends, family or work colleagues wearing red and supporting Royal Papworth Hospital Charity! Email [email protected] for more information or to send us your photos!
