Critical Care superstar inspires her colleagues as she plays the piano at Royal Papworth Hospital

Hannah Gingell, 20, Healthcare Support Worker and Nursing Apprentice at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust decided to take a turn on the piano in the main hospital atrium.

Hannah is a member of our frontline staff helping to care for our patients with coronavirus. Hannah has worked for the NHS since 2018 and is proud to be able to play her part during these challenging times.

Staff at the hospital were brought to tears to hear Hannah play the piano in the main atrium during her break. Royal Papworth Charity has shared the video as a beautiful reminder that we are all in this together and as such, all NHS staff will rise up in the fight against COVID-19.

Hannah was not actively fundraising but is delighted to promote the Royal Papworth Hospital COVID-19 appeal.

After her performance, Hannah said to us: "Everyday has its new challenges, but everyday we rise up together as a team."

All funds raised through the Royal Papworth Hospital COVID-19 Appeal will go towards funding staff support, research and patient welfare in relation to COVID-19.
