Charity Administrative Assistant (£16,968 - £19,852)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to cover 12 months maternity leave for an enthusiastic administrator joining Royal Papworth Hospital Charity and supporting a leading UK Hospital with an international reputation.

We are looking for a motivated and organised administrator to join our dynamic and friendly team. With opportunities to support donation acknowledgments and letters, social media, website updates, and donation processing; this is an exciting and varied role that will require the post-holder to have exemplary organisational and communication skills as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines.

The Administrator will be a member of the hospital’s Business Services Team which oversees the Charity and will play a key role supporting the wider team ensuring that financial targets are met. The post-holder will play a leading role in donor acknowledgement and online and social media communications as well as day-to-day administration.

We are looking for someone with an excellent administration skill set, exemplary time-keeping and fantastic interpersonal skills who will support donation processing / acknowledgment and who can represent the charity in a professional manner as required.

You should be comfortable with updating intranets, databases, websites and social media platforms. You will need to have a good understanding of Microsoft Office: including Word, Powerpoint and Excel.

Fundraising Manager (£26,565 - £35,577)

The Fundraising Manager will manage fundraising activities at one of the most respected and highest achieving hospitals in the country.

The post holder can expect an exciting and varied role covering event management, point of donation customer service, community partnerships, regular giving, legacy giving, grateful patient programmes and fundraising service reporting.

The Fundraising Manager will need to oversee and provide innovative solutions for fundraising activities to ensure the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity meet challenging income generation targets.

The Fundraising Manager will join the team at a very exciting time with the Charity needing to fund equipment and research programmes for a brand new state-of-the-art hospital. The post holder can expect challenging targets whilst managing for a once-in-a-life-time fundraising programme.

The post-holder will have line-manager responsibility and support from a fundraising administrator and will be expected to support and develop each member of the fundraising team.

The role is perfectly suited for an individual wanting to begin / develop their managerial experience or for an existing manager looking for a career with exciting future development opportunities.

Charity Services Manager (£26,565 - £35,577)

The Charity Services Manager will manage charity office services and charity communications at one of the most respected and highest achieving hospitals in the country.

The post holder can expect an exciting and varied role covering charity marketing including social media and website management, charity governance and compliance, database management and fundraising service reporting.

The Charity Services Manager will need to oversee and provide a solid foundation of charity administration and marketing services to ensure the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity Administration Team can effectively support the fundraising activities of the Charity whilst remaining compliant with Charity Law.

The Charity Services Manager will join the team at a very exciting time with the Charity needing to fund equipment and research programmes for a brand new state-of-the-art hospital. The post holder can expect challenging targets whilst providing supporting services for a once-in-a-life-time fundraising programme.

The post-holder will have line-manager responsibility for a dedicated, enthusiastic team of two administration staff and will be expected to performance manage the team to ensure office compliance whilst also supporting and developing each member of the team.

The role is perfectly suited for an individual wanting to begin / develop their managerial experience or for an existing manager looking for a career with exciting future development opportunities.
