Jonathan Huck proudly presented a cheque of £6,500 to Royal Papworth Hospital Charity which has been raised in memory of his daughter, Elizabeth. The cheque was presented to Dr Parmar and Mr Catarino alongside Matt Spiller, a representative from Elizabeth's school who have also donated £1000 to the Charity in memory of Elizabeth.

Elizabeth received a lung transplant at Royal Papworth Hospital in May 2016 but sadly passed away in September 2018. After receiving the transplant, Elizabeth ran the Southampton 10K and raised a fantastic total of over £3,800 for the Charity.

Elizabeth was passionate about both the Cystic Fibrosis and Transplantation Research work of Royal Papworth Hospital, particularly to include her own special interest in psychological services. Her expressed wish was that any giving should be as donations to Papworth Hospital Charity. All funds raised will be dedicated to be used in these three areas.

Royal Papworth Hospital Charity is so grateful for the incredible fundraising efforts that Elizabeth took part in to raise funds for the Hospital. If you would like to donate to Elizabeth's appeal, please visit her page here.
