Mitchell Smith is raising funds for Papworth Hospital in recognition of a life-saving transplant given to a family member who was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy; a disease of the heart.

The hospital was outstanding in the care they provided and the support provided to the family was incredible.  We want to show our appreciation by raising money so that the hospital can continue the incredible work they do.

Back in April, Mitchell held a 'spinathon' in partnership with Camberley Specsavers.  They managed to cycle the distance from Camberley to Papworth and back - a total of 170 miles! Mitchell then went on to organise a charity disco with a raffle, a ‘Guess how many sweets are in the jar’ and a ‘Guess the name of the bunny’ competition.

The hard work is paying off as to date, he has raised over £3,500 for the hospital – an incredible amount. Mitchell doesn’t plan to stop there, as he will be cycling from London to Paris in 4 months’ time, so watch this space...
