Peter plucks up the courage

Peter plucks up the courage..

‘‘The most awesome experience, a mixture of excitement and fear!!’’ are the resonating words of Peter Marshall. It’s not every day that a supporter decides to throw himself out of a plane at 13,500 feet. Peter’s father was given life-saving treatment at Papworth Hospital in March of this year, which was the catalyst for this dare-devil experience.

Langar Airfield near Nottingham was the stage upon which Peter decided to pay thanks to the hospital in his own extraordinary way. On Saturday 1st May 2010 Peter, strapped to his experienced tandem instructor Dave Morris, prepared toPeter and his instructor flying through the sky brave the inevitable. Edging towards the cusp, looking down from    2.5 miles above the ground, with only one thing in mind.

Success

What a success! As he landed back on solid ground not only did a wind-struck Peter have an experience he will never forget, he also raised at least a staggering £1,600. This figure is rising by the day thanks to the continued support given to him on the following website page www.bmycharity.com/petersBIGjump. Peter would like to thank all his individual sponsors, Greenview Environmental Ltd for sponsoring his jump fees, his tandem instructor Dave Morris and freefall photographer Chris Smith for making the event such a great one.
