Determined Danielle dons her running shoes

Danielle’s Dad had the aim of getting better after his double lung transplant and to train with Danielle to complete a half marathon, and to raise sponsorship money for Papworth Hospital Charity.

Sadly her father passed away from an infection before his wish could be fulfilled. Danielle made a promise to her Dad that although he won’t be able to complete this aim, Danielle would still go ahead and run the half marathon in his memory.

 
“So, in a moment of madness I signed up for the Cardiff Half Marathon on October 17th 2010. I have begun my training but I think it will be a tough challenge. Especially when it keeps raining so much in Manchester! Determination has now become my middle name and I hope that you will help me raise as much money as I can by sponsoring me and help the memory of my brave Dad live on” – Danielle.

Difference

Danielle will be joined by her friends Tanya, Gareth and James. Please sponsor Danielle and help her raise the £1,500 target she has set herself. This target would make such a difference to the patients of Papworth Hospital.
